Drew Estate's story began in 1996 with Jonathan Drew and Marvin Samel, two New Yorkers with no traditional cigar-making background. Starting from a small kiosk in NYC, Jonathan moved to Nicaragua in 1998, struggling to establish a factory. The turning point came with their collaboration with artist Scott “ACID” Chester, leading to unique cigar blends. Their first brand, La Vieja Habana, gained fame despite challenges. In 2004, they moved to Miami and continued to expand, culminating in the 2007 opening of La Gran Fabrica Drew Estate, one of the largest premium cigar factories in the world.
