Drew Estate's story began in 1996 with Jonathan Drew and Marvin Samel, two New Yorkers with no traditional cigar-making background. Starting from a small kiosk in NYC, Jonathan moved to Nicaragua in 1998, struggling to establish a factory. The turning point came with their collaboration with artist Scott “ACID” Chester, leading to unique cigar blends. Their first brand, La Vieja Habana, gained fame despite challenges. In 2004, they moved to Miami and continued to expand, culminating in the 2007 opening of La Gran Fabrica Drew Estate, one of the largest premium cigar factories in the world.

His farming was interrupted by his service in the Cuban War of Independence. After his return, he resumed tobacco cultivation and prospered.  Over the years, Oliva Cigars has built a reputation for producing expertly crafted cigars using a variety of tobacco blends. They offer a range of cigar lines, each with unique characteristics, reflecting their commitment to quality and tradition in cigar making.

Romeo y Julieta, founded in 1875 in Havana, earned popularity among a wide range of consumers, including Winston Churchill. Montecristo, founded in 1935, soon established itself as one of the world's most distinguished cigar brands. Both brands, now produced in the Dominican Republic, have a reputation for high-quality, meticulously constructed cigars that appeal to both old and new tobacco fans.

Eiroa, already established in the cigar industry with his Camacho family of brands, teamed up with Lazuka to create Asylum Cigars.

Following the Cuban Revolution, the family migrated to Miami, where Ernesto Sr. maintained his cigar-making heritage. His son, Ernesto Jr., began his career in jazz but subsequently joined his father in the cigar industry. After Ernesto Sr. died, Ernesto Jr. took over and endured financial challenges until eventually finding success. He founded the well-known La Gloria Cubana brand, which has received international praise. Ernesto Jr. launched E.P. Carrillo in 2009, a family-run boutique brand that produces cigars with a focus on quality and history.

Starting in Estelí, Nicaragua, Nicholas's vision combined old-world traditions with modern styles, resulting in unique, premium cigars. Foundation's first brand, El Güegüense, gained critical acclaim, marking a successful debut. The company values quality, consistency, and flavor, working with top tobacco growers worldwide. Notable blends include The Tabernacle, Olmec, Aksum and Charter Oak. Foundation's cigars are celebrated for their craftsmanship and rich, nuanced flavors, earning them a dedicated following and numerous awards.

With a blend developed by Ramón Cifuentes, General Cigar launched Macanudo in 1971. Originally produced in Jamaica and now crafted in the Dominican Republic, Macanudo is renowned for its smooth, sweet flavors, utilizing aged Connecticut wrappers and a blend of Dominican, Jamaican, and Mexican tobaccos. Cohiba, established in Cuba in 1966, is famed for its rich, complex flavors and is now produced in the Dominican Republic. Punch, founded in 1840 to cater to the British market, started in Cuba and is now produced in Honduras, known for its robust and flavorful cigars. Together, these brands offer a variety of mild to full-bodied options, solidifying their positions as leaders in the premium cigar market.

Known for meticulous construction and diverse flavor profiles, the brand sources the finest tobaccos from Honduras and Nicaragua. Acclaimed lines like the Vintage Series, Decade, and Sun Grown showcase rich, complex flavors. Patel's relentless pursuit of perfection has earned numerous industry accolades, solidifying Rocky Patel Cigars as a leader in the premium cigar market.

Similarly, Avo Uvezian, a renowned jazz pianist and composer, brought his passion for music to the world of cigars in the late 1980s, creating AVO cigars, which are celebrated for their harmonious blend of flavors and impeccable craftsmanship. Meanwhile, the Camacho brand, with roots dating back to 1961 when Simon Camacho began crafting cigars in Miami’s Little Havana, has evolved into a symbol of boldness and adventure, pushing boundaries in traditional cigar making through innovative blends and striking designs.
